Teaching license required or not for visa?

As a teacher I know that teachers need license to teach in Canada...I am worried and want to know do I need license before I apply for Canada or I can get it later

I talked to someone in Ontario Teaching College and the lady on the phone suggested that its a good idea to apply later I mean when I get visa as its a long process and require all the original documents to be submitted.

You don't need to graduate from a Canadian teacher's college to immigrate but you will need to attend teacher's college to teach in a public school. Every province may have different requirements.

Plus of course as the OP can read on this forum there are generally more teachers than teaching jobs available.
