Don’t believe so. BC seems to have a pretty unique program. Perhaps because their was a shortage of teachers. In most regions of Canada there is a surplus of teachers so no need to retrain extras via a special program. You need to contact the teacher licensing body from AB and ask questions about international teaching qualifications and steps to be able to teach in AB.
