Hi,

Can anyone help me through my Tax filing?

I need to file taxes for last two years (2016, 2017)

I am a permanent resident of Canada
2016
Jan to April -> Worked in Canada
May to Dec -> moved to the USA and worked there.

2017
Jan to October -> Worked in the USA and Stayed in the USA
Nov to Dec -> Worked in the USA, but Stayed in Canada (Doing Daily commute from Nov 2017)

I already applied for my taxes in USA...my question is can I file Non-resident taxes in Canada from may 2016 to Oct 2017?

Can't answer based on this. Unlike US, Canadian PR alone is not enough for establishing tax residency, but is a "secondary residential tie".

CRA taxes residency are mostly based on ties to Canada:

Significant residential ties to Canada include:

Secondary residential ties that may be relevant include:

  • personal property in Canada, such as a car or furniture;
  • social ties in Canada, such as memberships in Canadian recreational or religious organizations;
  • economic ties in Canada, such as Canadian bank accounts or credit cards;
  • a Canadian driver's licence;
  • a Canadian passport; and
  • health insurance with a Canadian province or territory.
