Tangled situation, need a brief step-by-step explanation

Hey everyone,

I've tried to figure out on my own a solution for immigration in Canada, but still I couldn't find a certain one.

So here's my situation:

-21 years old
-EU citizen (Romania)
-Want to work as a dentist in Canada in the future, right after I finish my studies
-At the moment in the 2nd year (out of 6) in university in Romania studying Dentistry;
-My mother's cousin became a Canadian citizen and is working in Alberta as a dentist and I plan to work alongside with him

Could you please tell me what options do I have to immigrate to Canada and work there? How early should I start the process? Maybe there is a special programm that is recruiting international medical workers for provinces?

You'll need to wait until you have graduated and have work experience before you'll be able to qualify to immigrate. Most likely, you'll need to have a year of full time paid work experience in a skilled profession before you can apply.

Note that you'll need to go through a re-certification process before you will be able to work as a dentist in Canada. You should research what this will take now. Foreign trained dentists typically have to take on different professions for a period of time after arriving in Canada.

Should also point out that the dental field is petty saturated in Canada.
