Taking too long for passport request or visa approval

Hi

I had submitted my application on the 10th of September and did biometrics on the 25th of September. At this time the wait time shown was 14 days.

Till date I have no update. I sent in the forms twice and both times they just said that the application is being processed.

Why is there such a delay. Is there a helpline number that i can contact. I was supposed to visit a friend and then later attend a conference the month after. And all of this has been in question. I have changed my tickets twice now.

Any help?

nothing you can do but wait. The posted processing times are estimates only. Some take longer, i have seen someone wait 9 months just to be rejected. Patience is key.
