Hi,

I have to get my medical done this month, but I have a Uric acid and Thyroid issue. The uric acid issue is not regular, it gets triggered in the month of January and February. I was suggested a minimal dose by an RMP which I am taking currently. And I have Thyroid for which I am taking a regular medicine(1 tablet a day) which was told to be a course of 5 months and is about to end.
I think this is not something that can ever cause an excessive demand or any other issue for Medical inadmissibility. I do not want my medical to be delayed by telling these seasonal/temporary issues during my medical examination. Would by any chance they come to know that I have taken any medicine if I do not disclose ?

Firstly, disclosing your thyroid or uric acid problem won't cause any delays. Thats a misconception.

Just get the medicals done like any other regular person. Through the course of the medicals if you're asked questions related to medical issues then don't hide it. Just be honest about it. And disclosing any of this won't cause delays or rejection so don't worry.

No problem at all. I used to have Febuxostat/Allopurinol once in a while too.
