Hello evryone,
My wife sponsored me from canada.I have got aor2 and they transferred my file to austrlia.
Anyone out there waiting in australia?

I applied 19 july and i have got aor2 on sept 7.
My wife recieved an email saying My file has been transferred to australia on 6th sep and no emails after that.
You probably expecting aor2 within next week or week after.it takes 40-50 days but depends.
Where you from?

I sponsored my wife who lives in Fiji. We applied on 4th March and the application went to Sydney visa office. We received and email that they received it on the 24th of May and nothing since.

Yes, I am also waiting for Sydney! I am sponsoring my husband & 2 kids in Australia, I am a Canadian citizen in Canada.

CIC confirmed receipt of application: 2016/06/28
I was approved as sponsor on 2016/08/23

We haven't heard anything since it was sent to Sydney. I'm not sure if it will take longer because we have 2 dependents on the application?

Hi Tess,

I emailed them yesterday to check how long it will take and below is the reply:

"Your status enquiry has been received by the Visa Office at the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney. Please be advised that our processing times are subject to change. Your application is currently in process".

I guess we just have to wait.

We are almost in same time frame.
My file has been transferred to sydney on 7th sep.
No emails after that.

Last I read was that a March applicant got their intereview date given in November
