Both I and my wife are currently in Canada (BC) on ICT visa (expiry date of April-2021).
I know that I cannot switch employers on ICT visa. I am looking for other options.
Few questions on this.
1. Since my wife is on ICT, can I apply for an open-work-permit against that?
2. If yes, will applying for open-work-permit create any issues with my current ICT visa?
3. Can I apply for open-work-permit myself? Or does it have to go through the new employer?
4. Any idea on the processing time for the same?
Also, if there are any other options, please let me know.
