Dear viewers,

I would like to share my timeline for skilled worker application processing. This might be helpful to many.

Applied at Buffalo post : Feb 2005

AOR Recieved: March 2005

Correspondence Recv'd of application transfer to NY: Feb 2006

IA (Interview waiver): Feb 2006

Finger printings sent to FBI: Feb 2006

Medical Exam: March 2006

FBI clearance recieved: March 2006 (in 4 weeks, that was fast!)

Docs (FBI clearance, Proof of funds, and landing fee) sent : March 2006

After sending the required documents as stated above, how long it takes to recieve the passport request? Also approximately how long it takes to get the passport back?

Thanks in advance and good luck to all of you!

Dear Viewers,

Thank you for sharing your timelines for Buffalo post. I will keep in touch and post my timeline when I hear about passport request. I believe it can be anywhere from one month to 3 months to get Passport request. Also there is website you can go to:

www.yogi799.com

You can view the buffalo timelines posted by people who are in the process of getting permanent residency.

Best Regards and Good Luck to all of you!

Please keep all of us posted on the timelines!

Dear Andy,

E-CAS still says "In Process" for me. E-CAS does not get updated promptly.

Best Regards,

i did the medicals in 2/06 and waiting also. i wouldn't trust the e-cas system. i contacted buffalo and they confirmed reciept of my medicals but the website still says "In Process". i've also heard of people already getting PPR and landed and the e-cas never changed. i think it takes anywhere from 3 months to a year with a small few less than 3 months.

Hi llw03c,

have you got PPR? Cause i konw some of the guys get it after 2 months from medicals.
is your file xfr to LA or NY?
no. i applied at buffalo in late 2004 and my file was never transferred. i still haven't gotten the PPR. i contacted buffalo and they did confirm reciept of my medicals. i suppose all that is left is the background check. i'm not sure how long it will take. i've only lived in the US and my home country (which is a harmless caribbean nation, no security threat)..i'm hoping for sometime this month.
