Surrey Applicants 2014-2015

Dear Friends,

I noticed it is hard to track the latest timelines for this office and would like to start this thread to gather more info related to the Surrey office.

Things are moving faster for application received during the later part of 2014, apparently some offices in the east are finishing applications within only 4-5 months.
The Vancouver office not far behind. How about our office?

Can everyone share his timeline here?

E-CAS update on March 04,2015

1. Application received: December 17, 2014.
2. Email (AOR): February 22, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on February 25, 2015.
4. Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Surrey office on March 1, 2015. The Citizenship Surrey office will contact you.

It keeps moving forward ;D Makes the waiting game a little more entertaining!!!

Thank you, duly noted. Perhaps this new thread can reflect more recent information, a fresh approach after the latest changes to the process in 2014.
Comments dated before April 2014 might not reflect the current practice. In my opinion we need a better point of reference.

We started processing your application on December 30, 2014.

Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Surrey office on January 15, 2015. The Citizenship Surrey office will contact you.

Reading all these timelines...it seems like everything STOPS after the application gets to Surrey. Well, that SUCKS!!!! I wish I could somehow avoid Surrey during my application process, which will be likely impossible as we live in Fraser Valley....Vancouver office is moving ahead, even the prairis are moving now, except SURREY.
