I want to initiate dependent/visitor visa for my 8 months old son. I already have work permit and my wife has dependent/visitor visa. Can anyone suggest what documents I need to provide for the followings supporting letters for my son's application,
1. Invitation letter: As currently I am in India, how can I provide invitation letter for my son's visa application.
2. Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter
3. Proof of Means of Financial Support

Please advise what documents I can provide for the above.

1) A friend or your employer from Canada can provide you the letter.
The rest of your numbering is pretty much the same.

Do you have things like bank statement showing you have substantial savings for you to fund your travelings? Or property papers?

Yes, I have. Can I show the same set of documents ( bank statement for savings/FDs, income proofs, etc.) for Point no 2 and 3 mentioned above?

You should just include a letter indicating that you and your spouse have permission to travel, you still have a job offer and don’t want to be separated as a family. If your child is 8 months old why did you not apply for his/her travel documents with your spouse?

Actually my employer started my application last year and that time my baby was not born. I received my work permit few days back only. Now I want to start the application for my baby. I hope the application will be through. Is it advisable to travel Canada alone and start the visa application for my child from Canada? Will it be faster from there? Any suggestion?
