Hello,

We submitted my spousal sponsorship application last on January 21st 2018. My husband hired a private Immigration lawyer and she was asking for supporting documents such as certificate of no marriage? I’m just wondering if it’s really applicable? Are these new rules now? Have you read any article that you need to submit a CENOMAR? I just asked if the cenomar was applicable since that there was no divorce in the Philippines but the latest news I have read was they have been approved Divorce in Philippines just recently February 20, 2018. I have been separated almost nine years. I was just confused. Most of my friends same as spousal sponsorhip has been approved without asking CENOMAR.

Any help. I would appreciate it.
