My question may be simplistic, but regarding supporting documents for a spouse PR application, is it better to put them all in the document checklist folder or in separate folders as related to each individual form?

Thanks in advance,

John

Personally, I put them all in one pile. I did not separate anything in different folders either. I put the receipt and then the bar codes (which I think might have been backwards) then the applications from me (sponsor) then my husbands (applicant), then all supporting documents. One big pile, stuffed it in an express post enveloped shipped it off. Oh, and one paperclip that held the 8 photos the one random paper just so they wouldn't chance falling out once opened.

I do not think much of the sectioning it in folders and so on. It is going to get sorted into the order they prefer once it arrives anyways. but, that is just my humble opinion.

EDIT: If you have completed a question from a form on a different paper, I would put it following the one that it is for. Don't forget to add your name and DOB and the question number and form number on the top of the page as well.

We had 4 envelopes I labeled them 1 '' Sponsors forms and supporting document'' 2 .Sponsored spouse forms and supporting documents'' '' 3 .Proof of relationship'' and 4 .'' Yahoo conversation history '' I seperated yahoo conversations from Proof of relationship because coud't place them with other proof of relationship because there were more than 300 pages . then I put all the 4 envelopes into a big one and we sent it to the CIC office. The wedding pictures and other pictures I placed into the envelope which is called '' proof of relationship''
