I have been getting mixed messages from different immigration consultants regarding my case and would like to ask if anyone share/encounter similar cases that can give me some assurance whether my application can possibly be accepted.
My sponsor and I have been in a relationship for almost six years. I lived with sponsor's family for the last five years and we just moved in and live by ourselves. We would like to file family sponsorship with our common law relationship and my visitor status.
Our current supporting documents for proving our relationship:
(1) bank statements and driver license showing same residential address,
(2) credit card statements/payment transactions showing shared expense to household spending (e.g. Mortgage payment to sponsor, groceries, electricity bills)
(3) tons of photos of us with both sides of our families and friends during trips; and
(4) statutory declaration of common law signed in September.
Sadly we do not file taxes together, nor having joint accounts or lease agreement.
Based on these documents, please advice on its success rate and what else you would suggest that will help bump up the success rate. Thank you so much!
