I am looking at the document checklist that I need to upload. I am married to a Canadian citizen.

The document checklist is asking for each of these as 2 separate items:
  • Marriage License/Certificate (required)
  • Proof of Relationship (required)

Am I supposed to just upload marriage certificate 2x (Ontario certificate) ? Should I supply more information for the proof of relationship?

Also go through the family sponsorship section, where you will see examples of people who have spouses that are Canadian citizens

Are the EE proof of relationship has the same stringent requirement as family class?

I mean, the family class is very strict and detailed because of the sponsoring aspect of the program.
However through EE, I simply have a spouse who is Canadian and there's no "sponsorship" part whatsoever.

The checklist info bubble says just marriage certificate / Declaration of common law.

I am wondering if anyone else here have uploaded this document and what sort of info they include
