Hello every one,
I want to apply for a supervisa for my parents but the problem is:
I am student with no income BUT I have savings more than necessary. Can I show them my savings instead of my income?
I just talked to a cic call center agent who told me I can't but I real somewhere that it is possible.
So the question is can I use proof of SAVINGS instead of INCOME?
Thanks!

No - you can't show savings instead. You must show income to meet LICO. If you only have savings and can't show income to meet LICO the don't bother applying - the application will be refused.

Thanks for the response. How about sponsorship? ( I know that it is now freezed till November 2013) but for that as well one needs an income or savings can work?
Thanks

No, also needs income.

Thanks for the reply,
How long maximum can they (my parents) stay in Canada though with a simple visitor Visa?

Usually six months. They can also try applying for an extension to the six month visit if they want to stay longer.
