Hello My parents are applying for a Supervisa and want to do the medicals upfront. My mom's medicals are ok. My dad had lung cancer 20 years ago and had surgery. Some scaring came back on the lung x-ray. He has to go back to get tested, I'm thinking for TB but the medical place said it would take 2 months to get the results once he goes back.

A question;

1. Should I submit the application for my mom and leave my dad off? Once his medical gets resolved then apply for him separately at that time? Or should I just submit both together? Will my mom's get approved and then have to wait for my dad's or how does that typically work?

Any suggestions would be helpful.
TIA

He will likely have to do the TB testing. Anyone with lung scarring usually has to do it. If your mother wants to travel as soon as possible she should apply separately. As long as she doesn’t have any scarring showing up on her chest x-ray she likely won’t have to do a TBtest.
