Thanks for your info. As you already informed everything on this forum, would you be kind enough to inform about the invitation letter and declaration of support you prepared? You could exclude your personal info if you want to inform us. How much are you paying per month for insurance premium? It would be helpful for others to get a clear idea about what to write on those letter.

Here is the main invitation letter (notarized) that I made for my mom. The texts in bold are just names or numbers specific to each case. I'll post the other one that looks like an affidavit later.

Invitation for My Mother Mrs. XXX
to Visit My Family in Canada

Dear Ammi (Mom),

As the government of Canada introduced the new “Parent and Grandparent Super Visa” with an honest purpose of reuniting parents with their children for a longer period of time, I, YYY, would like to take this opportunity to invite you Mrs. XXX to visit my family in Canada temporarily for 8 months.

As you know, I've been working permanently as a JOB POSITION since DATE/YEAR for COMPANY NAME, a crown corporation of the province of Ontario in Canada.

I want to bring back the memory when your sheer enthusiasm brought me to Canada in DATE/YEAR in order to study Electrical Engineering at UNIVERSITY NAME. Since the unforeseen demise of my father ZZZ (Ex-Marine Engineer and former co-owner of COMPANY NAME) in YEAR, you continued to support me both mentally and financially so that I could complete my bachelors' degree without any further hindrance. Having a mother like you while growing up was the greatest gift and biggest advantage anyone could ever have given me. You have been my teacher, moral support and inspiration throughout the career and being the only son, I want to thank you today for shaping me into a person who I am proud to be. As you never made it here to see my convocation; I want to show you my university at PLACE, my employer's head office at Toronto, my field office at Sarnia, famous Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands at Kingston, capital city of Ottawa and other beautiful places around.

I would like to mention here that both my wife and I have become permanent residents of Canada last year. My wife WWW, who is a certified MBBS doctor from Bangladesh, is currently seeking medical licensure in Canada. We neither have any kids nor have any other dependents living with us.

I want to emphasize that I am completely capable of bearing all our (my wife, my mother and myself) cost during your stay in Canada. My current salary is $AA,AAA/year which is well over the LICO limit. Moreover, I have also been saving some funds (approximately $BB,BBB) from my income. In addition to that, I have already bought Canadian medical insurance of $100,000 coverage for 1 year that covers your stable pre-existing conditions so that you never become a liability to the Government of Canada.

As you always discussed your intention not to live with me permanently in Canada rather to visit me on temporary basis; Super Visa would be a great consideration for you. I'm proud of you my mother when you are still independent and working full-time as a JOB POSITION at COMPANY NAME in Bangladesh. I know of you very well that you will never leave your home which is filled with my father's memory, the city where he was buried and your dear siblings who live nearby. Here, I promise to bear all your expenses during your visit in Canada. I can assure that you won't be charged in any way or form by the Government of Canada during your visit here. I'm really looking forward to having you here so that we, all together, can have a splendid time in this summer.

I would, therefore, sincerely hope that your application for Canadian Super Visa is granted. I have attached the necessary documents with this application and given our details below. Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact me.

Yours affectionately,

Does anyone know why additional medical information for super visa is requested after medical already done

Very good thread indeed!

Hey, that's great to see the invitation letter template. Very useful, I will start sending some of my clients to this thread. I still get questions like this occasionally from people looking up their insurance options for the super visa application while they are doing their research about the super visa application.

I operate the BestQuote Travel Insurance Agency (widest selection of policies to choose from in Canada: lowest prices or best coverage for pre-existing medical conditions). http://www.bestquotetravelinsurance.ca/parent-and-grandparent-super-visa-health-insurance

I have recently had a few clients cancel their insurance polices, after the processing time has taken way too long (more than eight months!). Other clients get approved within a month! So I can't really give much insight into what to expect from a processing time point of view. Insurance prices have recently been increasing. In August, Travel Guard increased rates by 20%, in September Travel Underwriters Platinum increased rates by 15% for all ages, Manulife only increased rates by 3%, GMS will increase rates by 10% for ages under 70, and 25% for ages 70-74, and 35% for ages 75-79. So, it always pays to get a recent quote and to speak to a specialist broker about expected future rate increases. Many people who purchased from one insurance company last year will want to renew in the new year but will be better off using a different company rather than just renewing! It always pays to look around - that's why we built our online quote engine. Easy comparisons, a toll free number to ask questions to (1-888-888-0510), online purchases (with or without credit card), and quick delivery of documents for the application: Supervisa insurance

Dear All - need your expert opinion.

My sister lives in canada. they are 4 members family. how much yearly income they have to show to get super visa for my parents? can my brother-in-law be my parents sponsor?

In this case, your sister and/or her husband have to meet CAN$47,710 annual income in order to be eligible for your parents to apply super visa. Your relatives in Canada have to meet the LICO for the year previous to the date of the application. For details, read this link:

How did you get medical request . I have received an email says " passport release to Dhaka " will not know anything before Sunday . Just wondering why thermail did not mention medical request.

cslave,

My Mom received the letter requested her to go thru medical examination. For super visa, you have to meet medical requirements for admission to Canada.

Colnago and cslave,

Let us know what happened to your cases. I wish you both good luck.

Thanks Bro!!! A excellent initiative!
