Hello,

My mom is already here in Canada and her 5-year multiple entry visa will expire next year, so I am planning of applying for a supervisa instead of making an extension again. My question is, if we got approval on her supervisa, it will be attached to her current passport right? what if she renews her passport next year? (it will be expired Nov2017), what will happen to her Supervisa?

please help!!!

The super visa will only be valid until November 2017. She will need to apply for a new super visa from scratch (including paying all of the fees and completing all of the forms) if she wants one beyond Nov 2017.

Just to add to the above posts....

If your mom is applying for a super visa i.e. which would allow her to remain in Canada for 2 years, on initial entry, then she must apply for it from her home country
