I am in the process of applying for Supervise for both my father and mother. The travel duration is 7 months with the same travel dates. While I was filling the application, I realized a problem. I have 2 younger siblings, one is 8 one is 13. Both dependant on my parents. Can the visa officer raise the issue of them being away from dependant children as child neglect? I have a 23 year old sister who is at home and also has household to take care of my siblings.

second option is to have separate travel dates for mother and father so one can stay behind to take care of the children.

I am really confused about how to proceed

Them leaving their children for 7 months is not IRCC's concern but their country's laws if considered abandonment. IRCC may consider why they would leave their children, who are minors and young, for so long.

I am putting 7 months in the application just for the sake of qualifying for a super visa. When they do visit , it’ll be for 2 weeks max.

How viable is the second options? Having separate travel dates for my mother and father so one gets to be back home with the children

You need to add a letter clarifying that you have indicated 7 month visit to be considered for a supervisa but your parents are only planning to visit for 2 weeks and include their itinerary and dummy flight information. If you don’t explain there will be concerns as to why your parents are leaving their minor child at home/

I don't think an officer would take it into consideration as a red flag, I would say it could be more likely considered even as a tie to return.
