Hello,
I am considering sponsoring my parents on Supervisa. I was wondering if my Dad is elligible to apply for a drivers license while he is here? He has years of driving exerperience, and not being able to drive here will be pretty disappointing.
Also, I am aware that he is not elligible to work or study in Canada. I don't really plan on making him work. But I was wondering if he could be elligible to write the equivalency exams when in Canada? He is an Engineer, and I was wondering if he can write these exams as a visitor? That might put him in a better position to apply for jobs in Canada and be considered for a work permit. I just wanted to know if this was a possibility?
Any guidance will be appreciated ...
Cheers.
