Supervisa 2020- cic requesting documents which I already submitted

Hi I recently applied for super visa for my parents.
I provided all documents requested upfront including proof of medical insurance receipt, notice accessment for 2019 for myself and my spouse.
Today I got an email from cic requesting for medicals, notice of assessment and proof of medical insurance.
My question is since I already provided notice of assessment and medical insurance, why is cic asking for it again? Has this happened to anyone in the past?
Timeline:
Applied - September 8th
Biometrics request - September 9th,2020, completed -September 10th,2020
Request for medicals - October 15th, 2020

May I know from which country are you applying Super Visa? Are Biometric centres open? It is closed in India even now from VFS Canada website.
