its either or....it all depends on what answers you have given when you started the application. You can do upfront medicals and upload the proof of meds done / attach the date of application... if the checklist doesn't require you to do upfront then you submit application and wait for them to ask for Medicals to be done.

Thanks for replying guys, I have not done any application yet so can they just go and get an exam done and then I can upload the receipt which should have a tracking number of exam I guess for the embassy?

Yes, you can do the medical upfront, when filling the form, choose yes for having done medical. You'll be able to upload it.

One more question , should my wife apply for my mother-in law and father in law or I can do it, she is currently on mat leave and I am working fulltime, thank you all for the answers.
We got their medical done already this week.

So for my application, it was for my father in law, we added both our NOAs, pay stubs, and the letter was mentioned saying how we have an combined family income and a proof that we live together, the letter was signed by both of us together. Nothing was notarized.

Short answer to your question is COVID.

When did they apply and where are they located?

when I try apply for super visa, the selection only gives the option of visitor visa, is it the same thing?

Based on the information you provided, the result(s) below indicate(s) whether you may be eligible to come to Canada.

Visitor visa - over 6 months

thanks so how will I can confirm that I am applying for super visa- is there a step wise info I can find anywhere,
Thank you
It is up to IRCC whether you are considered for a TRV or a supervisa. Would specify your parents want to stay over 6 months. That indicates to IRCC that thry would like to get a supervisa.
