Hello All,
I am looking for the suggestions or experience if anyone faced the same issue earlier.
My mother’s passport will expire on 18 September 2026, and her Super Visa is valid until 17 September 2026. She entered Canada on 09 November 2024. As per the current Super Visa policy, parents can stay in Canada for up to 5 years per entry. Also, visa officer did not stamp any returning date on her passport. However, my concern is whether she would still be eligible to stay for the full 5-year period given that both her passport and visa will expire in September 2026. She will renew her passport while staying in Canada though.
Could you please confirm whether her authorized stay would be limited by her passport/visa expiry date?
Thanks in advance.
