HI
Me and my wife applied for super visa for my father in law and mother in law. We both have 80000 as annual income which is sufficient to sponsor 7 peoples as per cic lico. We showed 12000 CAD in our account and around 4000 Cad in india. We applied for them as we are expecting a baby and due date is in june. which is this month. But we still got rejected by the visa officer by saying that officer is not satisfied from the documentation we provided and he said that we dont have enough source to support them in canada. Which i think is not even a valid reason. Peoples are getting visa even with low income but i dont know why he rejected the visa. Any body ho had the same situation and then got visa after reapply?

What documentation did you provide as part of your application?

HI,
I provided My Notice of assessment, wifes T4, Bank statement from Canadian banks and Indian banks, Doctor letter with due date on it. Land title paper as i bought new house in January So i have my own house too , Super visa insurance for both candidates, Medical etc .

Reason on refusal letter is :
You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your or your host's income and assets.
I am not satisfied that you will leave canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident.

Even my father in law is 70 year old and my mother in law is 60 year old. He is retired from govt job in india and having pension from there also provided that document too.

Order the GCMS notes. I suspect your parents' bank balance may be the issue. A super visa can be refused if IRCC believes the applicants don't have sufficient assets.

the problem was the doctor letter

Why doctor letter as that letter is needed to tell them that they are coming here to see the new born baby and also gonna help us to take care the baby as we are having our first baby. i dont think the doctor letter is the issue.

I hope you didn't say that in the letter. Taking care of the baby is regarded as illegal work by IRCC.

Hi
I don’t think that taking care of grand kids is illegal. But i know I might not using proper or right English word for that what i was trying to say because i have seen so many people coming on super visa for this purpose when there grand children is coming to this world.
Thanks anyway

I agree with the others. The refusal is probably because you mentioned they would be visiting to take care of your baby and your wife. In this case, a 2-year stay = The visa officer will consider it as working illegally for two years.

Have you met LICO only for the last year or since the last couple of years?
Meeting LICO is one only aspect. You must prove you have adequate liquid financial resources to support your in-laws' stay after paying the mortgage, other expenses, etc

Hi
I met the lico from last 3 years but I applied this year as i bought new home and new baby is coming.
I don’t know why canadians think that if grandparents are staying with there grand kids is working as an employee.
But I didn’t mention anything like that in my application. But the doctor letter is just to tell them they are coming to see there new grand kid. Nothing else.
And super visa is the visa for family reunion(That is what CiC says) So that if your parents or grandparents can meet there children or grandchildren. But if even then they dont come then what is the fun of this super visa. Reason clearly says thats i cant afford the stay of my parents which is not the right reason i think.
I dont know what can i do so that they will come and spend sometime with us

The damage would be the same whether you mentioned this reason or the doctor's letter states it.

Visiting to meet grandchildren is acceptable. What is not acceptable is for grandparents to mind/take care of their grandchildren because the grandparents are retired/not employed.

Regardless of their unemployment, any work done as a visitor violates the conditions of the visa + is considered as working illegally whether or not it is reimbursed financially or in other ways.

You must show that you have stable income since at least the last 2-3 years as a super visa host.

You have significant expenses in terms of a mortgage, baby, etc. You should be able to prove that you still have the finances to support your in-laws stay i.e. for 5 persons after these expenses

it is not an issue, you're right It was rejected the application
bonne chance

I know a person that put the same thing about take care grandchildren and got a visa. It's weird but good to know that not always it's a good purpose of visit. But in this case they are refused for financial reasons. That's how I understand it anyways I am not an immigration expert

Hi, did you reapply for your parents supervisa? My parents’ also got rejected recently, the reason being family ties and purpose of visit!! So disappointed. I am thinking of applying for clinical ne of my parents first instead of both. What about you
