Hi,

Asking this on behalf of a friend.

His mother has super visa which is expiring by Nov 2026. She is in India at the moment. She renewed her passport recently. Does she have to wait till her current super visa is over or can she apply before that ? Is it possible to apply new super visa based on new passport? Any other things to keep in mind?

TIA

Yes, she can re-apply, and she can and better use her new passport.
Thanks for reply.

So even if her current visa is active till Nov 2026 - this won't create any issue with new application with new passport?

Also, is there any time like in how many months in advance, new super visa can be applied from current active one? (For example, new passport can be applied 1 year in advance from date of expiry) - is there any such rule?

You can re-apply whenever you need, there's no issue about it.

Hi friends pls help with the situation we applied for super visa for my parents and my mother got visa but father having ckd problem we told to doctor about ckd when was medical and he took advance test from us .nw we check from mp he applied that everything was clear medical was assessing from 9 months nothing we get we applied web form also but no revert they assesseing from medical panel

Hi everyone,

My parents' Super Visa was approved, but they couldn't travel as planned. They are now planning to travel on October 1, 2026 and have already completed new medical exams since the previous ones expired.

I have two questions:

  1. The original application mentioned a 6-month stay, but they may now stay for up to one year. Could this change raise any concerns with CBSA at the port of entry ?
  2. Do we need to submit an IRCC webform to link the new medical results to the approved Super Visa application, or is it unnecessary? If a webform is needed, can the applicant submit it themselves ?
Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Hi,
My parents applied for supervisa together in one account as acconpanying family member. My father got Submission confirmation and BIL but my mother didnt receive both. Is this normal? Application date Aug 1, 2026 from India.

Thanks.

It is very normal and happens all the time. Your mother's should come soon after. If after a week no BIL then they can send a webform.
