Same here. I submitted my parents' application on May 11th.
 
Excited to share that I got PPR for super visa for my parents! No previous travel history and retired with medical issues and not a lot of money, so was a bit worried, but it went fairly smoothly.

Upfront Medical: March 19
Application Submitted : March 22
Biometrics Letter: March 22
Biometrics Submitted: March 27th
Additional Medical for one parent: April 3rd
Medicals Passed: April 12th and April 20th
Biometrics Validity Letter: May 16
Passport Request : May 16

I submitted an application on December 1st for super visa for my mom, got the medical request on April 14th medical status changed to passed on May 5th, what are the chances to get the ppr ? Till today didn’t get any updates.

Hi, I see on Tracker that application updated: May 18 2023, but everything is same as April 19 update! I see Medical, Biometrics and eligibility COMPLETED...(as of April 19 update) and Background IN PROCESS. Do anyone know what this means now? and if anyone else have this scenario?

Submitted application on IRCC portal - 11 May
BIL - 14 May
Biometrics done on - 18 May
Biometrics updated on portal - 18 May
IRCC Medical valid from a previous application for Visitor Record.
Nothing after that.
When is eligibility check likely to start?
 
Submitted Parent's Supervisa (processed at Singapore)

Application Date - March 25, 2023
BIL - March 26, 2023
Upfront Medical - April 5, 2023 (for father) March 30, 2023 (for mother) completed
Biometrics Provided - April 5, 2023 (Previous Biometric was valid until 2026 but wanted to get 10yrs visa hence provided again)
BVL - May 23, 2023
Original Passport Request Letter - May 23, 2023.

Please note my parents travelled to Canada before and had 5 year multiple entry tourist visa. They may have been processed under CAN+.
Will update when we send and receive passport with visa.

Same situation here, medical and eligibility completed since 5th of May, background check still in progress.

Any idea why background check takes so long for some files?
 
Mother's super visa application :

submitted may 5,2023
biometrics updated from previous given during visitor visa
upfornt medical.
background in progress since day 1 till today, eligibility not started
