Hello Community,

My parents will be landing this weekend. Is there any other specific documentation they should bring with them? I have instructed them to have the following at their side when connecting with CBSA:
  • PassPort with their PG-1 Visa
  • Printed copy of their 1-year $100K medical insurance coverage
  • ??? - Anything else? Maybe their country personal ID card?
Please advise, thank you!

Hi,

1. Valid Passport with valid visa (obviously).
2. Medical insurance (if Super Visa).
3. Proof of Funds.
4. Invitation Letter (to be on safer side, no harm in carrying a print out).
5. Forex receipt, if applicable.
6. You may add a landing letter, if they are not much fluent in English, just to inform CBSA office to call you in case they are not able to understand English/French. Though CBSA have interpreters covering most of world's languages.

And I believe that is pretty much of the documents required.

Good Luck

Thank you @21singh , they have their PassPort with Super Visa and Medical Insurance ready. I'll send them a landing letter as well with my notes and contact details for the CBSA officer. :)
