Hello friends..
I am Btech passout 2011. Working as php developer from aug 2011- till date. My ielts scores are: S:6,L:7.5,R:8,W:6.5. I donot have salary slips of my first job as I ws given salary in hand till 2015. In new company the salary was credited into my acc. May i know if I am eligible for express entry. Please help me.
Your education qualifications and work experience is good enough. However, you need to improve your IELTS scores and retake in order to obtain CLB 9 equivalents scores i.e. L 8 , R 7, W 7 , S 7
If you obtain the above band scores in IELTS, then your CRS points will be more than 400 and it will help you to increase your chances of either securing direct ITA or become eligible for PNP.
If you can obtain reference letter from your employer in which salary is mentioned, then no need to worry about not having salary slips.
All the best.

Hi,

I'm trying to create express entry profile but I'm keep on getting that Profile In Eligible message as I didn't met minimum criteria. Below are my details but im not sure why im not eligible at this moment.

Note: I just got married and earlier my profile was in the pool for one year and got expired on July 2016 at that time I had CRS: 462. Same time my IELTS report also got expired. I retook IELTS this year.

1) I have one year exprience in Canada from 2015 April to July 2016
2) I hold Master's degree and and have ECA assessed by WES
3) IELS score R-8,L-7.5, S-6.5, W- 6
4) I have around 10 years of experience
5) My wife has 2 years of experience and Bachelors degree but not applied for ECA yet. Also, havent given IELTS yet.

I hope spouse's ECA and IELTS is not mandatory. Please advise me what could be reason for Not eligible to create express entry profile. I tried multiple times

For primary applicant, IELTS or equivalent language test in English is mandatory for Canada immigration.
What have you entered in "how much money will you bring to Canada?" The number should be atleast the minimum funds required for 2 people. With every birthday, you lose CRS points. The younger you are, the more points you score. IELTS scores should be CLB 9 equivalent to obtain maximum scores in language section. It is recommended to score L 8 R 7 W 7 S 7 in IELTS which fetches you CLB 9.
All the best.

@sushsmart Thank you for your reply. I agree CLB 9 will helps to increase the CRS points but I'm still in clear that why I was not eligible to apply. When I checked in Free assessment tools and CRS calculator I'm getting around 440 points. I entered fund as $20000.

Try this official tool from IRCC to calculate your CRS points:

@sushsmart, I'm getting CRS as 447 without including spouse's language score
Cut-off of last draw was 453.
Now its really difficult to say whether IRCC will go down the floor of 450 and hit a new cut-off score in the coming draws.
However, if your spouse appears for IELTS and that helps to take your score to 453 or above, then it is definitely recommended.
Else, you need to apply for PNP to secure additional 600 points.

Hi There,

Im a silent reader in this forum. Please I need to know something about Express Entry. My first question is if I apply for PNP will it give me extra 600 points? I saw it somewhere in this forum. Let's say if my point is 400 then will I get 400+600 in PNP application? Then how long does it take to get an invitation in this case?

Another question is If I have miserable 400 points then I will have no chance unless I get a job offer. Others on this site say that it takes 6 months to process a Permanent Resident application, so I'm wondering why a Canadian employer would wait that long to sponsor someone in the Express Entry pool. Does anyone really get a job offer out country?

I will be grateful if anyone answer my question.
Thanks.

Then how long does it take to get an invitation in this case?if you apply for pnp you will get extra points but 200 instead of 600 with the recent changes and with that you will be around 600 which gives you an almost 99.9% chance getting picked up in pool within a month.

Another question is If I have miserable 400 points then I will have no chance unless I get a job offer. Others on this site say that it takes 6 months to process a Permanent Resident application, so I'm wondering why a Canadian employer would wait that long to sponsor someone in the Express Entry pool. Does anyone really get a job offer out country?with 400 points there is little to no chance unless again you get NOI(notification of interest from a province lets say ontario(OINP) to apply for pnp and then you get those 200 points and get to 600ish score

I will be grateful if anyone answer my question.
Thanks.

Have you done your ECA?? Do you have atleast 1 year full-time paid work experience? If yes, then fine.
Yes, you have a good score to be eligible for express entry and apply for PNP. However, if you retake IELTS and score CLB 9 equivalent scores ie. L 8 R 7 S 7 W 7 then your score will increase by atleast another 50 points and you will get direct ITA through round of invitation.
All the best.
