If travel is against medical advice, you need to obtain a letter from your doctor stating such and send it to the visa office. Under no circumstances can CIC require that you do something that endangers your life or the lives of your unborn triplets. It is normally not necessary to advise CIC of the imminent birth of children, but in the case where they have asked for an interview and you have medical contraindications, you should advise them of your condition and that it is contrary to medical advice that you travel.
They should agree to reschedule the interview under such circumstances.
Did you order GCMS notes? It's too late to do so now, but they would tell you exactly why the officer wanted an interview. It's quite unusual for someone with children together to get an interview.
