submitting the PR App before current visa renewal

Hi Guys,

One quick question, I'm still waiting for my work visa renewal, so I'm in the implied status. My question is, do I have to wait until i get the work permit before submitting the PR app? or I can still submit it even im in the implied status. The PR checklist stated that I have to provide a copy of my current visa.

Does anyone know?

It should be valid, better for you to wait when you get new work permit and send you app. Or if you want to save time, go to the border and apply for new work permit there, it takes 15 mins.
