Hi, I got my PPR yesterday. Since I have given my residential address in France, i was redirected to go to Paris VAC to submit my passport or send the passport to IRCC, Paris. But I am currently living in Belgium and crossing the border without passport can be problematic (on returning, after submission).
Can anybody advise which of the following can be a good idea:
1. Sending passport to Paris IRCC: Is this reliable? Can I send it via regular bpost or through FedEx/DHL/UPS etc?
2. Submitting in Belgium: I wrote to Ottawa IRCC to check if I can submit in Belgium and yet to receive a reply. Also it seems there's no VAC in Belgium. The nearest VAC is in Paris. Anybody know whether I can submit passport in Canadian embassy in Brussels?
3. Travelling to Paris: They don't usually check passports in trains in Europe. But still there is some probability of getting checked.
