Submitting missing documents

I have submitted application to sponsor my husband. We got an email from CIC 6 weeks after our application was delivered. They asked us to submit copy of his birth certificate as it was missing in the initial application package. Just wondering how long it will take for them to respond again. (Birth certificate was already delivered to CIC yesterday)

After you have received AOR1 from IRCC Mississauga......the next step and message likely will be the Sponsor's Eligibility Approval.......usually comes around 2 to 3 weeks after AOR1.

IRCC promised to complete sponsorship applications within 10 to 12months......so its a wait game....relax....patience
