Hi there,
I am applying for my PR under CEC next month. I am working as a researcher from December21, 2010 to present after my graduation in December20, 2010.

Last month , We have a baby born in Canada. and according to Canadian citizenship rules, he is a Canadian Citizen now.

Now my question is,

1. Do I need to include him in my PR application and include him as my dependent in Generic application form (IMM0008) and pay fees for him?

2. Even, if I do not include him in my PR application and generic application form, do I need to provide his birth certificate, copies of passport, and six copy photo.

I will really appreciate any help and answer regarding this questions

He is a Canadian citizen. You don't need to include him in the application. But you need to submit his documents. I suggest get his citizenship card and passport made and submit those along with your application and also write his details in teh dependent forms.

But no, he is a citizen now so he would not be included in the PR application. But you have toi acknowledge he/she is your son/daughter by filling up the dependent forms.

Just to be on safe side, call CIC and ask them and they might have some specific requirements for that, but not that i came across of.

Good Luck,
