Hello,

We are almost in the process of applying for my wife's PR and have come across this hurdle.

The problem is:

Birth certificate name: Abc (Spelling mistake)
Passport 1: BCA
Passport 2: BCA
Passport 3 : DCA (Name changed from BCA)
Passport 4: DCA (added spouse name)

We were wondering if we can submit passport 3 and passport 4 copies along with name change documents such newspaper, gazette + Adhar card, ration card, pan card which shows the name as DCA and not submit the birth certificate since it will just create confusion.

we had applied for medicals using passport 3 since we didnt know when applying for police clearance they require the spouse name on the passport so we got passport 4 with my name and then applied for police clearance.

could we not submit the birth certificate to avoid confusion

How big is the birth certificate spelling mistake? Is it something like "Sarah" spelled as "Sara"? Or is it closer to "Sarah" being spelled as "John"? If we're talking about a couple of wrong letters, submit the birth certificate.

So say the birth certificate is Sarah Jane Raaka

1st PP is Sarah Jane Reka
2nd PP is Sarah Jane Reka
3rd PP is Reka Jane Patel (Patel dads name, her first name becomes Reka) - Name change officially
4th PP Reka Jane Patel

Could we just submit passport 3 and passport 4 copies along with name change documents such newspaper, gazette + Adhar card, ration card, pan card

She didnt do any thing for name change from birth certificate to passport 1.

any one has an input?
