I was using a consultant to help me with my citizenship application, I discovered he submitted a wrong draft with wrong information.. how can I fix it? Is there a way to resend? Would this red flag my apllapplication?

Wrong draft with wrong information would mean misinterpretation.
How could you resend something which has already been sent?
There is a a change of being red-flagged for misrepresentation.

I never understand why people use consultant to prepare the application for them ... everything needed is listed clearly, you’d need to gather all the documents yourself - consultants have no way of getting your English proficiency proof, your police certificate, your passport copies ... you will have to provide those to the consultants so they can use the information to fill out the forms for you ... why not just do it yourself since nobody knows you better than yourself and the chance of making any mistake is much smaller than having someone else do it for you , and saves lot of money too

Some people have the money and know “No English”.
Some people have to hide a few things from the law so they hire such consultants.

And mostly those who don’t work too hard get super lucky with these processes.

There are dumb people in the world too

First in Mississauga, until Nov of 2018, then transferred to Scarborough... I feel like I won the lottery to be processed by not just one, but two of the slowest offices
They’d never get better with services...
It’s always been the hottest debatable topic for years and always neglected by the same who raise their concerns to win an election.

You didn’t actually say what’s the wrong information. It may not be as serious as you think

I’m stating the obvious here, but shouldn’t your consultant tell you what to do in this case? After all, you hired him/her to manage all aspects of your application. If you fired the consultant, then your best bet is to submit a formal letter via the web inquiry form as well as call up the CIC helpline and talk with someone to find out what you can do.

I imagine if your file is opened and they deem it as misrepresentation, they can bar you from applying again for a number of years?

The advantage of a consultant is that they should have done lots of these and may be able to answer questions that people aren't sure on. Not everyone comes online and finds this forum or maybe other helpful guides out there answering questions about how the form sucks with a question (9c I think) that is technically impossible for many people to answer.

And perhaps, if you have a consultant it lowers the chance of forgetting to sign the photos, or complete five tax years, or any of the many many errors people have made here!

Now are all consultants great and never make an error? I have no ideav - I doubt it but I'm not using one. For my PR having lawyers deal with all the paperwork certainly made me more confident I hadn't missed something but yes I still had to compile all the travel history dates and other docs for them.
