You account status changes to approved and closed as soon as they dispatch your passport at high commission. So yes, you will see change of VFS status "ready for Collection" and from there it takes only a day to arrive to Mumbai VFS.

My passport status is also changed and now states:

" Your processed passport has been dispatched from Canada Visa Office New Delhi on 06.10.2016 to Canada Visa Application Center"

Hopefully I will receive at VFS on 07.10

If you live in Delhi, it's definitely available for pickup already. You should call the VFS helpline and check on the status.

Just Checked at VFS Mumbai helpline, still under transit as the guy said, it is only dispatched around 11:30am today from Delhi. It will take 1 working day to arrive in Mumbai.

He asked me to call again between 12:00-12:30pm to check if PP is ready for collection. Though SMS service is sometime delayed and collection time at Mumbai is between 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

My ticket is for next month. I had actually booked it before I had received my visa, which was one of the reasons I was freaking out lol.
