Hi,

I'm running into an issue with my application. The application also includes my two children Liam and Caleb

Here is a time line of events

July 26 2018 - Upfront Medicals submitted
October 10th - Medical request for Caleb
October 31st - Uploaded the e medical sheet I was given to case specific inquiry page
Nov 1st- Received confirmation the documents were forwarded to the correct office
Late November - Called CIC and asked if they had received the information
November 27th - Asked Case specific inquiry if they had our medicals. They confirmed receipt for myself and Liam. Stated Caleb's is still outstanding.
Dec 5 - Sent a new copy of the E medical with the UMI in the body of the message asking them to link it to the IME number on the request.
Dec 6 - Received confirmation this was forwarded to the correct office.

So my question is, what do I do? Do I pay the money to get the medical redone with the request form? Is there anyway I can quickly find out if they have linked the two? I've asked the Medical place to resubmit it with the IME instead, and they state they can't.

My kids will be in town Dec 27th - Jan 2nd I can get the medical redone then if I have too but I'd rather not.

No, you don't need another medical for your child. As you only just submitted it again Dec 5th, wait a few weeks and follow up.
 
Update.

I emailed my MP. I emailed on Friday, they responded yesterday. This morning the MP called me. My file was actively stuck. They weren't looking at anything I sent until the received the medicals. The item I sent was the medicals. My MP was able to get them to link the medical to my file and it should move forward. The MP will also follow up on my file monthly to make sure things keep moving.

I highly recommend calling your MP if you have a similar problem. They have the ability to talk to actual people to make them look at your file and see the issue that is clogging up the works. If I hadn't contacted my MP, the processing of my application would have been slowed down by months.
