Submitted Citizenship application with IELTS Academic Test Results

Hello Everyone!

I submitted my daughter's citizenship application with results from her IELTS academic test and found out later that it is not acceptable

My question is to someone who has been in the same situation is if the Immigration returned their application were they refunded the application fees in total or they were charged the $530 processing fee?

They will return the application asking to update or you ask for a refund later. You will be refunded 530$ but lose the extra 100$.

It'll be returned but you can just send it back with the valid paperwork and the same payment proof. I can't recall how long that payment proof is good for, I have a feeling it's 6 months but that may well be extended as AoR times increase due to the ongoing pandemic.

No need to lose money here unless you withdraw the application.

^ AFAIK there’s no expiration to the fees, just as long as it hasn’t been used for a previous application.
