Hello,
I submitted my application for permanent resident to Canadian Experience Class. Four months ago, I got the confirmation email that they got my documents and they were complete. The status has not changed from "received".
Today, I realized that I should have submitted it to Federal Skilled Worker under PhD track because I do not qualify for CEC (my work experience is only my Research Assistantship).
I am afraid that I will be rejected for applying through the wrong program and that I will lose the payment of my fee.

Is there any way to get my application moved to the right program?
Should I gather the documents again and send them to the right track (FSW PhD) and pay the fees again?

Thanks for your advice!

CIC will not move your application from one program to another. If you do not qualify for CEC and don't want to lose the fees, then you should write to CIC as soon as possible and withdraw your CEC application - then submit a new application for FSW.

Thanks Scylla.
I spoke with an agent and the conclusion/final suggestion was to write to the CIC informing the situation, asking for the withdrawal of the initial application, asking for the reimbursement of the fee, and asking for the original files to where mailed back to me. And then, submit a new application under the right program (FSW PhD).
I am doing so!
