Submitted application to Buffalo visa office in Nov but still receive no reply.

Hi,

I received my SINP nomination in the month of October 2011 and I sent in the federal application to Buffalo on 28 Noverber 2011. Till date, I have not received any reply from them with regards to my application. I've checked the status of my application on E-CAS and it says application received. I am just wondering if anyone here is facing the same issue as I did? I haven't even received my file number, it's been 4 1/2 months. I am worried that the police clearance certificate is expiring in 3 weeks time. I hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks

My application was received by Buffalo on October 28th and I got the AOR and MR on March 13th.
I think you will be hearing from them soon.

I think you only need to send your police certificate from the countries that you lived besides Canada for more than 6 months after your turned 18...

To my opinion, you don't have to get a canadian one unless you are asked to...

yes, i sent my police certificate because i stayed in Australia about 7 months.

They have an expiry date? strange...but keep our fingers crossed, i think we will hear from them by the end of the month.
