I think I have a problem. So I renewed my Police Clearance from the Philippines through a representative and it didn't come with fingerprints. They didn't require me to give fingerprints when I applied for the renewal. I submitted it in my application as it is without fingerprints. Will this be a problem?

Here's my timeline if it helps

ITA: 14 Feb 2021 (CEC)
E-AOR: 2 April
Biometrics Request: 22 April
Medical Passed: 24 April

Special considerations
Your certificate must have a thumbprint and include a dry seal.

No translation is required, the NBI Clearance certificate is in English.

NBI Clearance certificates must be picked up in person, unless the requestor is residing outside the Philippines, in which case the NBI Clearance certificate will be mailed.

You should provide the correct file.

Kind of? I asked a consultant and they said it wont be a problem since it has a barcode. I already got a confirmation portal email for my application too.

Hi, did you submit your NBI without thumbmark and had no issues with it? I am on a same boat. Thanks in advance

Any updates on this thread thanks

Seems OP got his/her PR as per the 4th comment (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...is-be-grounds-for-refusal.730196/post-9472411). I am also in the same boat since I got a relative in the Philippines to handle my NBI clearance renewal and I got it without the fingerprint. As per my research, people got their PR as long as the clearance covers the time in the country where the PCC is issued from.

Currently awaiting my PR application result. Might update this thread with my result for anyone with doubts.

There's no need for fresh fingerprints when getting an NBI renewal. Biometrics have been captured in the initial NBI application, hence new fingerprints are no longer needed. I applied for renewal while in Canada in 2022 and got my NBI renewal which I used in my federal PR application.
