I paid one year tuition to university but they can't issue me receipt as course registration has not started yet. They took advance only because I specified CHC guidelines to them. Will wire transfer receipt be good enough? It's McGill University incase that makes a difference. Will this be fine?

When u wire transfer to ur university/college, u will get a TT from the bank where u wired. U can use that TT.

I have that but heard CHC accepts only receipts?

my agent once said that in case u r late for filling visas u can use TT.. and in your SOP u can mention this prob in the end paragraph, also if u have any email from them saying that u wont get receipt as registrations have not begin, then u can print out that email and put it in the file.

i did that as in my case i got the post after i got my visa. in scanned email they sent only my offer letter which did not have any details on duration of course, total yearly fees etc. so in email they said approx fees for 1 year will be 8935 CAD, so i paid that fees, got the receipt and attached that email specifying this amount. so email print out works in fine.

Thanks, I'll just use the TT. Anyway, my case is quite complicated, I don't think they're going to care about a receipt when more complicated issues exist. To be honest the only good thing I have going for me are the academics. Money issue is a total mess. I'm hoping the reccomendation letters from McGill and Cambridge make up for that. How would they look at it In your opinion?

@josh which state r u from?

Admitted to McGill originally for Fall Term but did not apply for permit as I met with accident.
Got new letter confirming readmission and they gave me 30 credits of advanced standing based on good results in previous education, its mentioned in letter.
Letter from Cambridge University acknowledging that I came top in india for their international economics exam.
Not written IELTS but I assume the above letter would prove my english capability.
Money- I've got enough to satisfy officer but problem is that I got it just 2 weeks back by selling property. I had 3 propertys in total and sold only one. Planning to include sale deed copy with application. Issued visitor visa to Canada in 2007, old passport but never used it as I got busy with exams and some commitments.
Sister is on PGWP after graduating from UBC.
What do you think?

i also applied without receipt
dont worry my consulant said theres no problem we can use TT
i also used TT
