Hello All,

I had applied for Canadian Immigration, under Federal Skilled Worker Class. I recently received an e-mail from NS Office stating I must submit complete application to the Buffalo Office for further processing. I'd appreciate replies from fellow applicants who have gone through the same. When they say "complete application" what does it mean? I've to submit all those applications for permanent residence, background declaration and additional documents related to Buffalo Visa Office. Please Iam freaking out here, I'd appreciate your replies.

you have to fill all the forms again +all the supporting documents....you can download the appendix from buffalo site

Krae,
Please don't freak out. What you need to do is to submit the same forms/schedules like you sent to CIO but with any updates that may have happened between applying to CIO and now. These are:
- Application for PR in Canada (IMM 0008)
- Schedule 1 - Background Declaration
- Schedule 3 - Economic classes - FSW
- Additional family information.

In addition, to complete your application, you will need to send all supporting documents. Please carefully go through the 'Buffalo Visa Office Specific Instructions' here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf. This link contains a checklist showing all documents needed (some may not be applicable), photo specifications and medical instructions (you will wait for Buffalo to give you further instructions for after they have reviewed your application).

Start gathering documents that will require more time to obtain (police certificate, english language requirements, employee reference letters.....). Remember you only have 120 days within which to submit your application. This may seem a lot but days pass by pretty fast, so start now!

Thanks Essat. You've been great help. Are you applying for the Canadian Immigration as well or?

Yes, I have two applications (Buffalo visa office), one in the FSW stream and the other under the Canadian Experience Class. I have been in Canada for the past three years. I will withdraw the FSW application if the CEC application is positive and is processed faster.
