Submission of passport for dependent

Hello Everyone,
I have a query regarding submission of passport for PR.
My husband has received email to submit the passport as a primary applicant, since he is in Canada currently so he has submitted passport in Canada. I am dependent (his wife) currently in India, has received an email to submit the passport to vfs and that email does not contain Appendix B and email is in the name of my husband. 1. Can I submit the passport with that letter?
2. When should I submit the passport, after my husband do landing formalities or before that can I submit?

2. You can submit your passport anytime no issue... but u can only land after your husband has activated his PR

The letter for submission of passport to vfs in India is in the name of my husband (the primary applicant) Will they accept the passport on the basis of that letter?
