Submission of Passport against Spousal Sponsorship in PAKISTAN

Hello,

My wife and I received the following email from LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca last week:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing with regards to your/your spouse’s application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please be advised that this file has reached the final stage of processing and is now ready for visa issuance. There is now a new procedure for submitting your passport(s). We require all passports to be submitted via the VFS Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Pakistan. This ensures a faster and safer process in the return of all passports.

Please refer to the attached document for instructions for submitting your passport(s) to the VAC (and details of the new compliant photograph specifications) so that your permanent resident visa(s) can be issued.

Please remember to include your application number (which is in the format F00…....) with all submissions to the Pakistan VAC.

what is the thing you dont understand in this.. i think its very clear..you got a passport request.

Appreciate your prompt response. I understood that part but I am unable to comprehend the part where they've advised that this file has reached the final stage of processing and is now ready for visa issuance.

What do they mean by final stage of processing? Is the file still under evaluation?

nooo. they have written that the file has reached the final stage of processing and is now ready for visa issuance..when they ask for the passport it means that they are issuing the visa. the final stage is to issue the visa nothing more.

I sent my passport feb 15 2016 still i am waiting for passport with visa.
