Studypermit extention delay

hi all,

i have applied for my study permit extension in the month of July and online status is still showing its open . i have called the call center and the agent told me to wait . i am worried i have one more semester to finish and for registering the last semester i need to have a valid study permit. what should i do?

Keep getting updates from CIC.

Print a screen shot of your online application and have it in your possession in case any one ask. It is really out of your hand until you get your permit.

Enroll in your classes and continue waiting for it. Document every update from CIC.

It shouldn't take more than 3 months at the most (unless processing time clearly suggest).
