Hello,

Is there a possibility for a mother to study in Canada with a kid (less than a year old) or is that difficult?

Money is not an issue.

Thanks

Hi elbob, the only difficulty I see is who will provide for your child's care when you are at school. If you are able to show the embassy that you have a relative or caregiver who will take care of your child, then I don't think it would be an issue.

it shouldnt be any issue ....but need more info ...ru from a visa exempt country? if so then no issue....if not then u will have to show strong ties to home country....being a single mother u r a potential immigrant....if ur profile is good then u can overcome the odds ..dont give hope just cause u have a child. there r people here who r studying with wife and kids here.

Thank you Mead,

Well .. am not from a visa exempt country and my husband has a PR but currently not living in Canada

The idea is that I can get accredited for an accounting certificate, so I can work when we move together to Canada after he wraps up things here in Europe.

So the idea is to finish 9 month of studies in Canada and return here before possibly moving altogether to Canada after 2 years.. I would prefer to talk my child with me but its fine for my husband take care of the child as we have family here.

Thanks for all the help

Thanks again Mead for the valuable information.

The only negative side is that my husband needs to stay in Canada for a year or maybe more before I get sponsored :|

I hope I get the student visa and I will be going back and forth to spend time with my family .. sacrifice but its now or never for my studies I think :) glad my husband supports me on this
