Studying while under LCP

Hello.I'd like to ask if we are allowed to study ( short courses like baking,CPR etc) even if I'm still under the live-in caregiver program?Do i still need to inform CIC regarding taking courses? I know that it was specify in our work permit that we are not allowed to study for more than 6 months.So does it mean to say short courses will do? Any info will be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Yes LICs are allowed to study for short courses, not more than 6 months. You do not need to inform CIC about it.
