Can a 7 year old child, in Canada on a visitor visa, be enrolled in a private elementary school? If so, what happens if they apply for an extension prior to the end of their six month time period? Can the child stay in school until they hear the answer to their extension request?

They are also here on V1 Visitor Visas. They are over their six months but did apply for extensions prior to the end of the six month period.
